Career Highlights In 2014, Tolman starred in the premiere series of FX black comedy crime series Fargo. Fargo is a film starring experienced actors Billy Bob Thornton Martin Freeman Bob Odenkirk. The movie was inspired by the Coen brothers 1996 film of the exact same name. Tolman received accolades for her performance in the role of Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair saying the following "calmly and certainly stole the entire show". Tolman was praised for her character. She was awarded the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries and received Best Actress nominations at the Emmy Awards and for the Golden Globes. Tolman was cast in the role of a guest on two episodes as romance writer Abby Berman on The Mindy Program the same year.
